Memorial Day Camping

Yes, we're a little slow at getting another post out. We have been a little destracted by our facebook accounts. Hopefully the newness of that is wearing off and we can focus on our blog again.

We had a great weekend a couple weeks ago. We went up to Kilgore and camped with a couple friends and their families. The kids had a blast. Olivia probably ate more dirt than food, but she had fun doing it. She could have survived on her own - anything edible on the ground she found it. Gavin had fun playing with the other boys. He also found his new love, Aaron's kid dirtbike. I'm sure he asked me at least every hour if he could ride it. I had to admit, he did look pretty cute on it.

Overall, it was a great weekend. Hopefully we can do it again soon. Here are some pictures for you all to enjoy!

Aaron's amazing fire building skills.

Gavin keeping warm by the fire.

What a great Memorial Day. Thanks for heading up the Gutierrez reunion. I think that Jeff and I will just make it on Saturday. I'll be sending you some money.

Camping-HOW FUN!! What a great way to spend the holiday! Your blog is adorable and I can't believe how big Olivia is--both your kiddos are adorable! I wish we lived closer so we could have playdates. (maybe someday!)

Gavin and Olivia look so grown up and I saw them just last month! Gavin doesn't look like a toddler any more. He totally looks like a little man...especially when he is riding a motorcycle solo! Woah!
